A customized guided meditation to help you be present, focused and centered. Our ALTYR practitioner will help you develop your own unique mindfulness practice using a variety of techniques to experience a deeper state of tranquility and calm.

Meditation can be done anywhere with enough practice. However, being prepared for meditation physically, mentally, and spiritually can enhance your experience. For your ALTYR session, your practitioner will create a safe and comfortable space for you. This may involve the use of music, incense, essential oils, and other tools to encourage relaxation. For beginners, meditation can be unique and challenging, so be prepared to try new things and trust your Altyr guide.
You can prepare for your meditation by setting an intention prior to your practice. You can ask specific questions, think about general topics, or jot down a list of your distractions. Focus on a goal or something you would like to bring into your meditative space. You can mention it to your practitioner if you feel comfortable. You can also come into a mediation session with nothing but an open mind and let the journey your practitioner takes you on reveal the nature of your practice.
Once your practice is over, you may choose to remain in your relaxed position for some time. Do not feel rushed to open your eyes and stand up. Remember to drink plenty of water. Take a moment to express gratitude for the moment. Check in with your body, mind, and spirit, and allow for the results of your practice to sink in. It helps to fully experience how good the moments following a meditation practice feel. For beginners, try to practice meditation 1-2 times a day for 20 minutes in the morning or before bed. Notice the changes in your stress levels, sleep, and daily focus, as well as your gradual improvement in your meditation practice.
